Useful Tips for Applying for Credit on a CPN

We have been so busy lately with all of our clients, and have not had time to post.
Here are some useful tips for CPNs:

When purchasing a vehicle:
Get your approval online with either Road Loans or CarMax first. After that, go into the dealership with your approval package and do NOT let them pull your credit; that was already done. What you do not want to do is go to the dealership where they will pull your credit on your CPN using your DL and merge your two files. There are more tips, tricks and do-nots on this. If you would like to know, ask me!

When applying for a loan at a financial institution:
Do NOT go to a credit union. They use LexisNexis and will pull everything on the number and find out it is a CPN and not an SSN. Do not go to your own bank/branch. They already know you there. If you can, apply online using your CPN as your DL. This is a general rule that you always want to follow, as to not merge your two files.

When applying for Cap One:
There are many on this one, but here are a few-
Do not apply on a computer that has been used before for cap one on another CPN.
Do not apply on a phone that has been used before for cap one on another CPN.
Do not activate using the sticker on the front of the card.
Do not activate using the computer; you will need to call.
You can have up to 5 cards with them. After you get the first one, use it for 3 months and then get either the platinum, journey or quicksilver one for average credit.
Make ALL payments on time and after 5 months receive a limit increase.

When applying for an apartment:
Apply online if possible. If that is not at all possible, BRING your credit report with you so that they do not pull your credit.

When applying for in-store credit:
Ask how they are using your DL #. Do not let them use your CPN and DL on the application.

When applying for utilities:
Do as if it were an over-the-phone application and you should get approved.

When applying for cell phones:
Do so online.

Why are you losing clients? Lack of clients = lack of $$$$

Sometimes you have to give it to your clients as if they were 2 year olds....
I do not say this to be rude, but one must fully and completely explain how a CPN works, what one can and cannot do with a profile, and guide them through from beginning to completion.

Tedious? Yes.
Rewarding? Yes.
This means that your clients now have the correct information to not only build theirs correctly, but pass on the word to their family, friends and co-workers.

I have run into the issue many times where a client will come to me and say that they are losing clients and do not understand why. I ask them a few brief questions and the underlying problem is the lack if information.

Be INFORMED!

How, you ask?
Read my blog, listen to my recorded conference calls, email or call me! I also have e-books, PDFs and other materials regarding credit repair, credit sweeps, CPNs, staying anonymous, the name change, shelf corps, authorized user tradelines, primary tradelines, business credit, personal credit, basic and advanced how-to's and other information which can help you in your credit journey.

Remember that the only stupid question is the one that you do NOT ask!

If you need links to specific blog topics, or the phone numbers to my recorded conference calls, please ask.

We are here to help!

How many CPNs can I have?

How many CPNs can I have?

This is a question I am frequently asked, so I will go into detail about it. You can legally only have 1 CPN. If there is anything wrong with the first CPN, (the actual number itself), we issue a 2nd one at no cost. This does not mean that you can use the first number and max out your cards or misuse it and get another. 1 person can only have 1 CPN.  There are instances in which you can have 1 for business and 1 for personal use. The business CPN can be attached to an LLC or other such entity.

Why can I only have 1?

This should be common sense, but I will answer it anyway. I have too many clients who attempt to obtain multiple CPNs, thinking that I will not remember once a name was already used. (No matter how many CPNs I do, I remember every single name).

Think about it- if a person is purchasing multiple CPNs, it is likely because they are committing one type of fraud or another. What possible reason would one have for utilizing more than 1 CPN otherwise? The purpose of a credit profile number is to responsibly build it up to obtain credit and accounts within reason and pay them back on time. It is legal to purchase and use one, but becomes illegal when utilizing multiple. It is also illegal to incur debt and not repay it. You are legally responsible for all the debt you incur.

We would also like to add this disclaimer, which can be found in each email sent:

This program is not intended to be used as a method of defrauding banks, creditors, or any other organization that requires your social security number as identification. This program is not a method to avoid paying your existing or future debts. If you created the debt, you are responsible to repay that debt. However, we will not support, facilitate, nor condone any fraudulent activity. The information here is informational purposes only and for you to use at your own risk. We are not lawyers or any legal services. We have a non refund policy because of the work needed to give you the info.

What happens if I do not repay my debt?

Let's say that you obtain a Cap One credit card with a $300 credit limit and max out the card in 1 day. That is most definitely not something that we condone, but it can happen when you complete a large purchase. This does mean that on the due date, you will either need to pay the full amount, or the minimum amount due. I do suggest paying the full amount off, as the APR increases the amount you owe in total.

If a payment is missed or the account remains unpaid, it will then report negatively on your credit report and not only will other creditors see this, but it will effect your credit score also.

Tips for paying on accounts:

Pay accounts on time
If at all possible, pay off complete balance, and pay off as soon as the debt is incurred
Do not let APR incur
Do not do any cash advances
Pay for CPN accounts using CPN-related accounts

Bottom Line

The bottom line is that you must take care of your CPN. Do not treat this the same way you did your SSN, and the cycle will break and you will obtain financial freedom. Follow our instructions, do not commit fraud, and ask all your questions so that we may assist you in all of your credit endeavours.

Tips for brokers and clients on CPNs

We have been so busy the past 2 weeks, that I have not had time to get out another post for you guys. I have compiled some tips for brokers and clients on CPNs.

Tips for brokers and clients on CPNs:

Broker and client rules:
If you are my broker, you must follow these rules. If these rules are not followed, the business relationship structure crumbles.
1. If you become my broker, please do not give my contact information (or anything related to my company; i.e. company name, website, email, phone number, etc). These are your clients, not mine. You are my client.
2. When sending info regarding numerous clients, please send it to me in one email, not 10.
3. Please understand there are days when I am not available via phone. I am always available via email.
4. You set your own price after purchasing from me. (For example, you purchase 5 CPNs from me. You can then sell them at whatever price you wish).
5. You send me the information for the work that needs to be done for the client and I do it for you.
6. When I finish the work, I send it to you, and you forward it to the client. Not at any time do I want to be in contact with your clients. They are your clients, not mine. You are my client.
7. If your clients have any questions or issues, they are to notify you, and I will help you solve the problem.
*If your client is somehow able to contact me, normally they will not tell me which broker they belong to and will purchase through me. If at any time a client purchases from me, they are now my client and will no longer be in contact with you.
**Make certain when forwarding the info to your clients that my info is not in the email.

Very Important:
Make certain that the information submitted for the CPN is not at all similar to the true SSN information. This is very important in keeping both profiles separate. Not at any time do you wish to merge the two of them. Try to use an address that is not even in the same state. If you need help obtaining an address, please contact me and I will help you. The following info is necessary to create profile. The items notated by "*" mean that it must be new and not associated with the SSN profile.

1. Name
2. Date of birth
3. *Address
4. *Email
5. *Phone

Please see previous posts on obtaining help with that info.

Helpful tools:
Here are some tools that I use every week (sometimes daily), which will be very useful for brokers:

jotform.com -create forms and even take payments on them
waveapps.com - accounting software for small buisnesses and also invoice clients and take payments
fiverr.com - gigs for only $5!
blogger.com - create a blog and inform your clients!
yuku.com - create a help forum!
craigslist and backpage - great for advertising
vistprint.com - marketing and advertising materials
overnightprints.com - marketing and advertising materials

Offer incentives for sales:
Low on cash and want to make a quick buck (or two)? Offer sales and incentives! You can run a special for the day, weekend, holiday, next few hours, etc. Don't just give them away for free, but you will want to give them a reason to purchase during your sale instead of waiting.

For example:
If your price per CPN is $300- offer 2 for $500 or buy 1 get 1 50% off.
or
Offer a free credit bible for the week of ___ or the month of ___, which would otherwise cost $__.
(or your other services, such as the identity theft credit sweep).

Value your time:
You will encounter many clients who spin this story about how they will make you rich with all this potential business, and keep you on the phone for hours. Do not do that. Value your time. Give a free 5-10 minute consultation. After that, they either need to purchase, or take a hike. If they need more information, you can either send them to your website, or send them PDFs via email. My time costs $800 an hour and I do not have time for people like that; time is money. So do not let clients take advantage of your company.

What happens if my CPN and SSN merge? How do I prevent that from happening?

One of the most important things with a CPN is avoiding a merge with your SSN. What that means is that they would no longer be 2 different profiles, essentially they would become only 1.

Why don't I want only 1 profile?
Think about it: more than likely there is something wrong with your SSN for you to get a CPN in the first place, right? The entire point is for you to have separate credit profile to build up to achieve financial freedom. Having said that, if you merge the 2 of them, you will not have 2 credit profiles. You will have 1. So whatever you put on your CPN will also be on your SSN, and the other way around. The addresses, phone numbers, emails and accounts will be on both of them. You will be invalidating your CPN by doing this.

How do I prevent this from happening?
This is simple, and not so simple at the same time. Be aware of the addresses, emails and phone numbers that you have on each account and only use the ones that correspond to the credit profile that you are associating it with. If you are making a payment on an account on your CPN, you must pay for that account with a credit card or bank account associated with your CPN, not your SSN. That means that once you get your Capital One card, you cannot use your regular bank account to pay for it or your credit card. You must either obtain a prepaid card, or bank debit card or other credit card to pay for Capital One, or send your payment via MoneyGram. If you attach your bank account (SSN) to pay for this, it will freeze your account, and you will not only lose that account, but also mess up your CPN. You cannot get another one. Another example: You were approved for Kay Jewelers and you are getting a ring. You cannot have it shipped to your current address which is associated with your SSN profile. It must go to the CPN address. This goes for anything ordered using your CPN info.

It is simple:
CPN to CPN
SSN to SSN.

Is there an easy way to keep track of this?
You can always set up a spreadsheet, or write down your accounts and information.

1. Obtain a prepaid card for your CPN profile. I suggest Rushcard.com. Use this for your CPN payments on credit accounts.
2. Keep track of all of your addresses, accounts, emails and phone numbers which are associated with your CPN account.
3. Do not ever cross-associate information.

Need help finding an address for your CPN?

When setting up a CPN, one of the top issues clients have is finding an address to use. This really shouldn't be such a big problem. We are always here to help, so make sure to ask us and you will be pointed in the right direction!

Here are a few virtual mail boxes that you can use. This means that you purchase an online box and use the address assigned to you for your CPN. All your mail then goes to that box and you can decide whether to have it sent to you or not. This also works for packages large and small.

Ask us for a more detailed list or or other address ideas!

Tips for my brokers; Craigslist, Facebook, websites, advertising and more!

I work 90% with brokers, 10% with clients, and I actually prefer to work with brokers, as I have contact with only one person instead of 300 clients. So considering there are 528 of you guys, I figured that I would post some tips and tricks for my brokers. I will break it down into sections to make it easier reading, and if you have any questions, comments or suggestions, let me know!

Advertising

Advertising can be a serious pain in the butt, and it is utterly necessary for a business like this one. I will give you a couple of suggestions that work for me. I am mostly just word of mouth now and do not need to advertise, as I have thousands of clients, but there are days when I do put my business out there again for new clients.

Craigslist
It is quite difficult to advertise with CL now, but there are tons of ways to get around being flagged or to prevent it from happening. CL is the 4th most visited site in the world, so that right there should tell you that you need to be on there! Here are some suggestions:

  • Check out www.beatcraigslist.com to see the complete list of tricks; it is a great website that I came upon, and I already employ all that the author recommends.
  • Get IP address changing software such as HMA, and change your IP to the area that you are posting in
  • CL now allows one to validate their account with Google Voice numbers, VOIP numbers and trackphone-like numbers. Take advantage of that to obtain multiple accounts.
  • Make certain to renew your ads every 48 hours, and change your IP after each posting
  • Do NOT use the words "CPN", "AU/authorized user tradelines", "sweep", and anything like that in your title or it will get flagged. Use a different title for each ad.
  • Change your ad every 7 days
  • Use clickable images in your ad

*For a more comprehensive list, check out the above website

Backpage
This is a very simple site to use and it is effective advertising. You can even set up auto-posting for a low price if you do not wish to manually post. You can even check out fiverr.com and have others post for you for only $5. Make sure to change the title of your ad every 5 ads that you post, and I advise only posting in major metro areas.

Check out fiverr.com for a bunch of gigs for only $5! This is also great for adverting!

Offline Marketing
Offline marketing is very effective also. I use this just as much as online marketing. A few examples would be:

  • Business cards
  • Postcards
  • Rack cards
  • Posters
  • Loyalty cards
  • Stamps with your business name
  • Brochures
Here are 2 sites that I use over and over again:

You can leave these materials everywhere (where law allows, of course):

  • car windows
  • trains
  • buses
  • hand to hand
  • leave them in stores
  • billboards
  • posts

Social Networks
You most definitely want to promote on social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and others. Make sure that you are doing it in a professional manner. This section is not only about promoting on social networks, but also presentation. My business is on Facebook, and Twitter. I am currently creating the other accounts to make sure that my online presence is huge.

Presentation
Presentation is HUGE. Lets use Facebook for this. Take a look at your personal or business page, whichever you are promoting from (even if you are not promoting from your personal page, you still want to follow these guidelines). This is so important, there are actually videos on youtube to help you out with this. Here is a list of tips for ensuring your profile is professional and presented in a fashion to increase sales and engagement:

  • delete anything negative- profanity, drugs, sex, unprofessional language, negative-attitude status posts or those posted by others on your timeline
  • add a cover photo that is business-related, shows you actually conducting business, attention-grabbing, etc.
  • post about your business, but not every 5 minutes; what is new? How can you help others? What is it about? Do you have specials? What are your services? How much do they cost?
  • what does your "about me" section say? Add in a description of your services, business hours, cost, etc.
  • post about current trends- do a Google search and then decide what you are going to post about
  • find quotes related to what you do- on success, perseverance, sales, marketing, etc.
  • what does your profile picture look like? Is it upside-down? Are you throwing up gang signs? Reevaluate that also.
Check out my personal page and my business page to see physical examples:

Promoting on Facebook without the "promote" button
Now that the "promote" button is gone, advertising on Facebook can be difficult. There is a "boost" button for business pages, but they do not allow a lot of words and business-types. You also cannot post about work-from-home or about how much money you make with this, so you have to be careful. You can most definitely get a lot of reaches using this method, though. Using the "promote" button, you were able to create a status post and then promote it so that it would show up higher in the status feed on your friend's feeds and stay up there. This was extremely beneficial, especially after tagging 100 people in a post, because it would not only show up on their feed, but on their friends' also.

So now what?
You can still find a plethora or tricks to keep your posts high in the feeds. Here are two articles that will help you out. I will list a couple of them here for you.

Article #1  - Tips and tricks to get your posts on top of the newsfeed
Article #2  - Decoding Facebook's news feed algorithm

  • Avoid asking friends or followers to like, share or comment on your post. An algorithm change Facebook made in August to weed out spammy posts will now automatically lower those that beg for likes and shares. It also makes you reek of desperation, which just looks bad.
  •  Get your friends or followers to like, share or comment on your post. While you shouldn’t ask for it, posting things your friends care about now has the opposite effect. Posts that get several likes or comments may even appear in your friends’ news feeds more than once
  • Use trending topics. This is quite the opposite of a natural or “organic” method of improving a Facebook post’s popularity, but Facebook really wants to be one of the ways you get your news. Adding information about a trending topic can be one way to improve a post's visibility.
  • Include plenty of links. Facebook’s algorithm considers posts with one or several links to web pages as indicative of someone who is sharing about a recent news story or has otherwise done a bit of research. Make sure you let Facebook turn your most visual or important link into a “preview,” which it automatically does when you copy and paste a website’s URL.
  • Avoid using angry or negative language. much-maligned experiment run by Facebook found that users who saw happy posts were more likely to share. The company has incorporated that experiment into its algorithm and currently makes posts that are overtly negative less visible. As your mother may have told you, if you can’t say anything nice, include a reference to a trending topic.
  • Include multiple pictures in your post. Facebook thinks these kinds of posts are about a recent vacation or an important life event, and brings them to the top of your friends’ news feeds.
  • Time your post sometime between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. Most people are active at those times, with peaks right after 9 a.m. (when people arrive at work), 12 p.m. (lunchtime Facebook-time), 5 p.m. and before bed at 9 p.m. or later. Saturdays are also a popular time for Facebook use as well.
  • Use it or lose it. Facebook gives users (and brands and media outlets, as well) more visibility if they use the service more often, as opposed to people who post infrequently. So make sure you post regularly – at least once or twice a day.
Blogs
I do not need to say much about this, but one of the most important elements to a business that markets online is having and maintaining a blog. Those who have websites but no blog will statistically receive lower sales than a company with no website but a blog. Google's Blogger is the best place to blog, as you will receive more traffic! A great thing they have is stats, where you can see how many people visit your blog, which post they say, what website they entered from, etc. If you are reading this, then you can see why it is important to have a blog.

Websites
Do you have a website?
Is it a free site?
Paid site?
Examples of 2 paid sites I created:
 GetMCAtoday.com and TheCPNpros.com

*See the difference in the domain names? The more professional is the .com (or .info, .net, etc), not a ".site.com". If you are making as much money as you claim to be on your social networks and advertising, clients will wonder why you cannot afford a paid site. This is important.

What I suggest:
They recently had a great special that I took advantage of (created GetMCAtoday.com andTheCPNpros.com) where it was only $1 per month for domain, email and website builder, which in total equaled approximately $13.87. I do not currently see it on their website. Either way, they are great to use! With my last website, I built it with wix.com and then used Godaddy to point towards the site. Not only did I have to pay Godaddy for the domain, but I also had to pay wix. I did not like that. With these two sites, I paid for the year and used the website builder to build the sites and I had both up within 24 hours, (took me a couple hours to build each site).

One last thing
Alright, one last thing that I would like to mention is that you must know what you are talking about when a client comes to you for more information. Make certain that you can answer these questions. If you need help, let me know. I am always here!

What is a CPN?
How does it work?
How can it benefit me?
Is it legal?
What can't I do with a CPN?
What is the turnaround time?
*if you offer sweeps:
What is an identity theft credit sweep?
How does it work?
What is required?
How long does it take?
What do you delete?
